L&L Special Furnace, a leader in high-quality heat-treating furnaces, is proud to announce the delivery of its model QDD124, a modern dual chamber heat-treating and tempering oven. This deployment of a model QDD124 is set to benefit a Snap-on production facility in the Midwest, enhancing tool and die support within their manufacturing line.

Designed for efficiency and space-saving, the QDD124 dual chamber furnace is perfect for a wide range of applications where space is at a premium. Its unique over-and-under configuration not only conserves valuable floor space but also ensures reliable and consistent heat treatment.

The oven’s top chamber is adept at heat-treating tool steels, reaching temperatures as high as 2350°F. The lower tempering chamber, capable of achieving up to 1250°F, features a recirculation baffle, making it ideal for small-scale aluminum processing. The hardening and tempering chambers dimensions are 13” wide, 12” high, and 25” deep, with the total exterior dimensions being 55” wide, 78” tall, and 56” deep.Control of the furnace is streamlined through digital single setpoint controls, enhanced with overtemperature protection, and driven by solid-state relays for the heating elements, offering a robust and straightforward control circuit.

Our furnaces can be equipped with advanced pyrometry packages to comply with the latest AMS2750 specifications, ensuring the highest standards of temperature control and uniformity.
