L&L Special Furnace Company has supplied two electric box furnaces to a Midwestern machine manufacturer that builds high-speed cutting equipment, tools and supplies for various industries. Some of these industries include industrial manufacturing, food products, plastics, automotive, metal materials and aerospace.
L&L has supplied a small bench model furnace along with a larger box furnace. The L&L model GS1714 and XLE3636 are both excellent general-purpose box furnaces.
The GS 1714 is a bench-top furnace that is equipped with a digital program control and overtemperature protection. It is used primarily to heat treat punches and tool and die materials for production. The furnace has interior working dimensions of 14” wide by 8” high by 11” deep.
The larger XLE3636 has an effective work zone of 34” wide by 16” high by 32” deep. It features a complete digital control system, overtemperature protection and counterbalanced vertical door for ease of loading. The furnace is used for larger structures that require thermal treatment along with running batches of multiple parts. It is used for hardening and annealing of many varieties of components employed in equipment manufacturing.
All of L&L’s furnaces can be configured with various options and be specifically tailored to meet your thermal needs. We also offer furnaces equipped with pyrometry packages to meet ASM2750E and soon-to-be-certified MedaCred guidelines.
Options include a variety of control and recorder configurations. A three-day, all-inclusive startup service is included with each system within the continental US and Canada. International startup and training service is available by factory quote.
If precise temperature control and uniformity is key to your process, then L&L’s XLC series is a great choice. Please be sure to visit our new website at www.llfurnace.com
